My name is Gianna Toniolo. I am a transfer student from the University of Iowa. I transferred to Benedictine University about two years ago. I am supposed to be a senior but not all of my credits transferred over so credit wise I am a junior. I'm a communications major with hopes of obtaining a masters degree after I graduate from Benedictine.
This is my first blog post ever! I am very excited to be learning how to post blogs as well as more about Blogger. I am going to be using Blogger for my social media marketing class. I have never taken a marketing class before so I am looking foreword to seeing what this class has to offer. When I hear the words social media marketing I think of two things: ads that pop up while using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. And how almost every big company, like retailers for example, use things like Instagram to show things their company has to offer. These things could range from current sales the company is having to new merchandise being released.
I hope to dig deeper into this subject and explore all the aspects to social media marketing. I can't wait to learn more about this class!
